All of our neckwear is exclusively handcrafted, customized to each Bestie’s individual measurements. Because of this, we strongly suggest taking your Bestie’s measurement(s). Please measure twice, just to be sure and confirm the size in the pop-up once adding item to your cart. We strive for that perfect fit.

// When measuring for any of our neckwear, have your Bestie sit in front of you, facing away from you. With a soft measuring tape, measure the circumference of his or her neck where a collar would normally sit. (You can also use a piece of string and measure that with a ruler). Pull the tape so that it is snug but not too tight, allowing enough room to slip two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck. For a small dog or cat, allow enough room for one finger. This will be the size (in inches) you should order. If unsure, measure again, or select the next size up. Please keep in mind that the collar should be comfortable for your Bestie and not too snug.

With most our essential WOOF wear - standard and lux collars, we size to the center hole of five holes - this being your Bestie’s size, spaced with one-inch intervals for future growth needs. If you measure an existing collar, start measurement from where the leather wraps around buckle to the hole currently used, this will be the size you should order. We strongly suggest measuring your Bestie before ordering, since all of our wears are custom, made to order.

// When measuring for a harness, please provide us with your Bestie’s neck measurement along with his or her chest circumference. To measure for the correct chest size, you’ll want your Bestie to stand for you. With two fingers, measure behind his or her front legs. With a soft measuring tape, measure by pulling the tape snug but not too tight. (You can also use a piece of string and measure that with a ruler). This will be the chest size (in inches) that you should provide, along with his or her neck size when ordering a harness.
