SAINTS + SUPERHEROES is a modern lifestyle brand dedicated to creating a collection of fashionable, stylish, luxurious neckwear for pets — the Bestie(s) in your life. Showcase their beauty and power of love in any of our exclusive, extraordinary neckwear. Designed and handcrafted from a small studio in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
SAINTS + SUPERHEROES was founded and created by Renee Rasmussen, inspired by the love of her two besties: Nova and Uni, aka Super NovaGrae and SaintUni, her little Saint + Superhero. She has merged her love of fashion, design and minimalistic aesthetics into a collection of handcrafted, high-end, sophisticated wears for both dogs and cats.
As a pet owner, she felt that the market was lacking luxurious, fashionable collars for pets in general. Thus, she was compelled to create her own collars. Renee began experimenting with hand-stitching and working with different leathers and hardware. From this, she created her first essential piece for Nova — a high-quality black leather collar with brass hardware accents. As the process evolved, Renee began incorporating her love of designer fabrics and crystals into her collections of high-end, designer neckwear for pets. This was the beginning of SAINTS + SUPERHEROES — Inspired by LOVE, Designed for LOVE, Created with LOVE. Exclusively for all those who are undeniable, the most loyal, loving, beautiful creatures in life... to all those extra-special SAINTS + SUPERHEROES and their out-of-this-world; Superpowers of LOVE.
As an artist/ designer, Renee’s work traverses many forms, including painting, ceramics, photography and graphic design. With her new pet line, SAINTS + SUPERHEROES, she hopes to share her passion and love for pets with owners who equally celebrate the beauty and unconditional love of their Bestie(s) in life.
